Timeline View lays out a competitor’s entire ad history as a visual, Gantt-style chart — every ad as a bar across a calendar — so you can see at a glance when each creative launched and how long it stayed live.

Where to find the timeline

Open any brand on your Watchlist and click the Timeline tab. Each row is an individual ad, drawn as a horizontal bar that starts when the ad launched and runs to today (or to when it was turned off). A duration label on each bar shows how long it has been live, and a date axis across the top maps everything to a calendar.

Navigating the timeline

Use the zoom controls to widen or tighten the time scale, and the arrows to move the date window backwards and forwards through the brand’s history. Many brands include inherited historical data going back as far as three years, so you can scroll well before the day you added them.

What you can learn

  • When they started scaling — clusters of bars beginning around the same date.

  • Their longest-running ads — the longest bars are proven, durable winners.

  • Creative pivots — shifts in format or messaging over time.

  • Seasonal patterns — launch spikes around specific times of year.

Filtering and sorting

You can narrow the timeline by date range and by attributes like Format, Platform, Language, Status, or Niche, and sort ads by Newest, Oldest, or Longest running to bring the most relevant creatives to the top.

FAQ

How far back does the timeline go? For brands already in Raven’s database, you inherit historical data — often up to about three years. Newly or manually added brands build history from when tracking begins.

Can I save ads from the timeline? Yes. Open any ad from the timeline and save it to Swipes.
