Minimum vs Maximum Spending Limits

  • Minimum spend limit: guarantees the ad set receives at least this amount. Useful for ensuring visibility on a specific creative.

How to Set Limits in Co-Pilot

  1. In the Budget step, after enabling CBO, click on the individual ad set

When to Use Them

Use spending limits when you have an underperforming ad set that Meta keeps favoring but you want to keep live for testing. Or when you want to ensure a new creative gets minimum exposure before Meta deprioritizes it.
